Initial Assessment and Treatment

Duration: 55-60 minutes

Understand why you are seeking therapy, education on what is causing pain, and how it affects daily life.

Identify specific movement problems (strength, flexibility, balance, coordination) that could be the cause of your symptoms.

Establish a physical therapy diagnosis, prognosis (expected course of recovery), and a treatment plan with goals you agree on.

Follow-up Treatment

Treatment including, therapeutic exercises/activity modification, neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapy. 

Condition education and home exercise program also provided.

Functional Dry Needling

Functional dry needling is a skilled physical therapy technique in which a thin, solid needle is inserted into tight or painful muscles to modulate pain, release tension, improve blood flow, and improve movement, without injecting any medication.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a skilled manual therapy technique in which a clinician uses specialized handheld instruments to glide over and press into the skin and underlying soft tissues to identify restrictions/hypersensitivity, improve blood flow, improve mobility, and modulate pain.

Performance and wellness sessions are one-on-one visits focused on helping you move, feel, and perform your best—not on treating a specific injury or medical condition. These sessions blend expert movement coaching, strength and mobility training, and recovery-focused hands-on care to support healthy aging, sport performance, and an active lifestyle.

They are elective, non-covered services designed to enhance fitness and function, and are not billed to Medicare or other insurance plans.
